How much does air source heat pump installation cost?
A fully installed system typically costs £10,500 to £16,000 depending on your home, with a 3-4 bed at £11,500 to £14,500. With the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant that's £4,000 to £7,000; oil boiler replacements get a £9,000 grant, taking it to £2,500 to £5,500. How long does installation take?
Installation typically takes 2-5 days depending on the property and system size. This includes fitting the outdoor unit, hot water cylinder, any pipework, and commissioning. We give you an exact timeline after the survey.
Do I need to change my radiators?
Most existing radiators work fine. Heat pumps run at lower flow temperatures, so some may need upsizing. We check every radiator during the survey and only recommend changes where necessary.
What does installation include?
The outdoor unit, hot water cylinder, all pipework, electrical connections, commissioning with weather compensation, and a full handover. We also handle the BUS grant application (£7,500, or £9,000 for oil boiler replacements).
Do you subcontract the installation?
