Solid-wall properties add around £400 for the extra design work. Radiator upgrades, where needed, are priced individually at the free survey.

Heat pumps are 300% efficient: for every 1kW of electricity, you get 3kW of heat. Typical savings of £500–£1,300 a year against gas, oil, or LPG.
Nearly double a gas boiler. Less maintenance, no annual gas safety checks, fewer breakdowns. The install cost spreads over a much longer life.
Heat pump installations are VAT-free. That's a saving of up to £2,000 on a typical installation, already included in every price on this page.

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme pays £7,500 towards your heat pump installation, or £9,000 if you're replacing an oil boiler. It's how a £13,000 installation becomes £5,500, and a compact oil swap can start from £1,999.
